We are currently seeking an Energy SolutionsDevelopment Engineer III based in Bracknell, UK. In this capacity you will engage both Publicsector projects (municipal facilities/operations, schools, universities,airports, hospitals, etc.) and Private Sector opportunities (commercial &industrial) including engineering support to sales team(s). Use your extensive subject matter expertise toinfluence customers toward Honeywell solutions. You will provide both externaland internal consultations and will help Honeywell teams develop and maintainthe right product messaging, customer support, and training. You will fostercross-functional alignment to customer needs. You will participate in pursuitstrategy planning, and customer negotiations. You may consult prospective userson product capability. You may provide valuable input for product development.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage in customer-facing activities
- Conduct field energy audit surveys, data collection
- Review and understand utility bills
- Develop baseline, coordinate with M&V team
- Prepare preliminary project scope
- Calculate energy savings for the recommended scope
- Verify savings against baseline
- Building ECM (Energy Conservation Measure) analysis
- Develop final scope, coordinate sub-contractor work, pricing with delivery team
- Final costs and financial (payback) analysis
- Commissioning support
- Prepare RPF/RFQ responses
- Building energy simulation modeling
- Present Technical Sales briefings to customers
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering – or related field
- 5-10 years in the Energy Solutions business
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in designing energy solutions.

- Project Development capacity/experience: > $1M - $20M Project
- Demonstrated ability to develop and foster strong customer relationships
- In-depth knowledge of Honeywell and competitor platforms, products and technologies
- Experience in technical writing and preparation of proposals
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Familiarity with industry regulatory requirements and future mandates
- Ability to achieve results through influence in a matrixed-team environment
- Ability to communicate effectively across language and cultural barriers
