Provide solutions as Technical Sales Support, preferably all day long. Both for our customers and colleagues. You are the point of contact for service issues for low and/or medium voltage installations. With your technical knowledge of our products and services you give our customers the feeling of being really well served.Do you have a service-oriented attitude and do you enjoy helping people solve a variety of problems? Then we are looking for you. As a Technical Support Specialist you work on quotations for service issues for electrotechnical low and/or medium voltage installations. You serve both small industrial companies and network operators as well as the 'big names' in this world, which makes for a varied job. One moment you are working on a quotation for €4,500 and the next moment you are putting your technical knowledge to work on a service project of €2 million.As a technical commercial employee, you will join a close-knit team of technical specialists and sales colleagues. It is a mixed and hardworking team in which everyone has his/her own specialty. Do you have a question? Then you will undoubtedly find the answer with one of your colleagues. Your manager gives you all the space you need and encourages independence.

Your responsibilities

• Advise customers technically on our service solutions. Based on your advice, you make an offer that meets 100% of the customer's needs. During these contact moments you build a relationship.
• liaise in English with our ABB factories on price and supply negotiations which you make as smooth as possible.
• liaise with the sub-suppliers and our partners to complete the solution.
• provide your sales colleagues with the correct technical information and support in customer contact where necessary.
• record the entire quotation process properly so that you never miss a part.

Your background

• Precise and independent, it's you. You don't shy away from diving into a big technical challenge and biting into it. Because of the size of the quotations and the impact of our products and services, it is important that you also perform under pressure. Mistakes in quotations are then a thing of the past. We are talking about a real click if you, like your colleagues, thrive in an environment where you can work in a calm and focused manner. Furthermore, you also preferably bring the following components:
• mbo or hbo education in a technical direction, preferably electrical engineering.
• several years of work experience in a similar technical commercial role (at junior or mid-level), gained for example in the installation sector, a similar company like ABB or for example at a consultancy firm in our field.
• full command of the Dutch and English language in word and writing.
• a flexible attitude when it comes to scheduling your hours.
