We are looking for an experienced HR professional to manage our Discrete Automation Latin America sales and manufacturing organization, based in Barueri, Brazil .

As the Human Resources Manager, you are responsible for all aspects of human resources practices and processes for Brazil and Argentina.

Working in close partnership with the LAM leadership, you build and implement HR initiatives to support our organization and business strategy, including but not limited to organization culture, talent management, employee experience and engagement, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I), in line with Emerson and Discrete Automation people strategy and values.

You implement all Emerson HR related processes and tools, and you supervise all HR operations activities ensuring full compliance with regional legislation and Emerson standards.

As a Human Resources Business Partner, you will : Build strong partnership with management and employees to coordinate personnel actions, create a work environment equipped to meet business needs and maintain an efficient and active two-way communication between them.

Build and implement initiatives to continuously improve employee engagement, based on results from the Your Voice Counts listening program.

Proactively identify HR challenges together with the HR Director Americas and VP / GM offer solutions to create a sustainable and effective work environment.

Partner with local and remote leadership, and provide valuable input and feedback related to organization design, talent assessment and development, performance management, etc.

Work with Employee Resources Group (ERG), with management and with employees in all areas of the organization to promote DE&I and ensure we have an inclusive leadership and an inclusive organization culture.

Coordinate the annual salary planning process ensuring alignment with market ranges and critical talent retention. Together with the site leader, handle the relationship and negotiations with the union.

Coordinate organization review and talent review processes. Lead local HR projects and support Americas / global projects.

Analyze trends and metrics, seeking opportunities and strategies to improve trends in turnover, retention, and key indicators of employee and customer experience.

Provide HR policy mentorship and interpretation. Collaborate with EHS regarding any safety concerns brought forward by employees.

Develop a solid network within the Emerson HR organization in LAM and in Americas and leverage the Emerson Centers of expertise in Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, Comp & Ben, etc.

Required education, experience, & skills : Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field Relevant years of demonstrable experience in a combination of operations, employee relations, union negotiations, business partnering, and talent acquisition commensurate with the level of the position.

Good knowledge of the labor legislation of Brazil Ability to navigate leaders through a variety of organizational changes.

Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, compliance and practices as well as experience in developing, driving and maintaining HR projects and programs.

Fluency in written and spoken Portuguese and English. Any other languages are an asset. Ability to oversee confidential and sensitive information with utmost integrity.

Preferred education, experience, & skills : MBA is a plus 5+ years of HR leadership experience within large, complex, matrix organizations and manufacturing environment.
