Job Summary:

The Manager, Publisher Partnerships will be focusing on LATAM region.

The mission of the Manager, Publisher Partnerships is to ensure the success of our publishers by proposing effective solutions while seamlessly leading and coordinating with the team. This role involves close collaboration with business units, core functions, and support teams to lead, develop, and implement strategic initiatives. You will be expected to lead consultative engagements that drive business growth for our publishers. Moreover, this role offers the opportunity to grow and make a significant impact by developing scalable solutions that enhance our overall performance.
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement best practices for publishers interaction, sales, and services;

  • Ensure that our publishers receive the highest level of strategic and operational customer service;

  • Identify, implement, and support opportunities for process improvement across the organization;

  • Implement scalable strategies and processes inside the publisher team and across diverse teams to enhance and improve execution;

  • Engage in activities such as regular meetings and workshops for publishers to deepen their understanding of our products and services, while also showcasing new business opportunities;

  • Establish new opportunities and optimize existing partnerships through effective account review and pro-activity in proposing new development strategies;

  • Represent the region at internal/external facing events for Rakuten Advertising;

  • Coach and lead a team within a rapidly growing start-up entity within the Publisher team;

Minimum Requirements :

  • Minimum 4-5 years’ experience in partnership (affiliate, or supply) or media sales;

  • Strong commercial experience and relationship manager;

  • Solid understanding of the digital landscape;

  • Self-starter and KPI/results driven;

  • Advanced level of proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint;

  • English fluency level or above;

  • Ability to inspire, motivate, and guide a team toward achieving goals;

Skills

  • Exemplary written and oral communication skills;

  • Commercial and negotiation skills;

  • Strong understanding of consumer and digital landscape;

  • Strong analytical skills to identify issues, evaluate options, and implement solutions;

  • Have daily conversational level English skills;

  • 1-2 years proven track record of building, developing and leading high performance teams (people manager);

  • (Preferred) Experience in developing influencers’ projects and campaigns
