In this temporary role, the Events Project Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing large-scale events for Disney Media & Entertainment Distribution. These events may include shows, festivals, exhibitions, and other public-facing events. The Project Manager will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that events meet all goals, objectives, and deadlines .
- Develop project schedules, timelines, presentations, and documents for the entire project.
- Centralize all project information, plan strategies, manage communication between internal departments, and ensure all teams follow established timelines and action plans.
- Monitor project progress with internal teams, agencies, promoters, and other stakeholders (production, commercial, legal, creative teams, diverse business lines) regarding deadlines, effort, and quality, conducting status reports, attending meetings, and preparing project reports.
- Manage project risks by developing short, medium, and long-term mitigation plans.
- Facilitate information and document sharing through agile methodologies.
- Identify and implement processes to build relationships with key project stakeholders.
What we need from you be part of this story:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in planning, organizing, and producing (pre-production, execution, and post-production) of large-scale events (50,000+ attendees).
- Agile Project Management methodologies.
- Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
- Leadership profile with a good network of contacts, comfortable with changing directions, and possessing negotiation skills.
- Emotional intelligence for conflict management, unforeseen events, and acting under pressure, with flexible judgment and quick reaction time.
- Experience managing large-scale projects for the general public (e.g., shows, festivals, exhibitions).
