Sr Program Manager P&L Excellence , Consumables
Amazon is seeking a Senior Program Manager who will lead pricing operations for Consumables team. This PM has to be comfortable interfacing with various functional teams, have a passion for data analysis and strategy in an ambiguous problem space, and be willing to roll up their sleeves to ensure that we are offering the right price to our customers. A successful candidate will be highly analytical, resourceful, customer-focused and will have an ability to work independently under time constraints to meet deadlines. The PM will have a proven track record in taking on end-to-end ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment. As Sr Program Manager P&L Excellence you will drive strategic, high-visibility programs and initiatives to enable us to work with our low-ASP selection while also delivering on profitability challenges. You will be equally comfortable investigating business requirements while driving improvements in our P&L initiatives. Key job responsibilities
- Define and execute tactical and strategic plans towards achieving the program vision and goals through efficient program, operations and stakeholder management;
- Develop team goals and metrics that allow for accurate measurement and traction towards solving a business problem, achieve buy-in from stakeholders and actively report progress on the goals;
- Work with Program, Supply Chain Operations, Finance, Delivery Experience, Retail & Ops and Retail teams to understand program requirements and jointly develop a solution which solves a larger business problem;
- Continuously perform data-based Analytics to identify issues and report key insights, subsequently building data backed business cases;
- Develop and maintain key relationships with internal stakeholders locally and around the world. A day in the life We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations: Sao Paulo, SP, BRA
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in program or project management;
- Experience owning and analyzing complex business problems and driving results;
- Advanced English;
- Ability to work across multiple teams to create scalable solutions to monitor business performance and interpret key performance metrics into actionable recommendations;
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills and a deep love of spreadsheets; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and evaluate outcomes;
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in BI, finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, finance or equivalent quantitative field;
- Exhibits excellent judgment;
- SQL knowledge (or willing to learn it);
- Good written and verbal communication.
