This is a remote position based in the Eastern United States or Canada. We are currently seeking a proven sales leader to guide the East Region team, leading high-performance Cloud application sellers to record sales and customer success. Calix Cloud products were launched in early in 2017. We are now experiencing explosive growth and need to hire a proven sales leader to guide this expanding team. The team you will lead will be working with Calix account teams across your sales region selling our Calix SmartBiz portfolio to innovative Broadband Service Providers (BSP's) and Managed Service Providers (MSP's) both large and small. This role reports into the Area Vice President, Smart Services Solutions. As a leader of our Cloud Sales team, you will be responsible for a team selling to new Tier 1, 2 & 3 accounts along with established Calix customers. Primarily, you will be responsible for ensuring the Calix SmartBiz ASM team has all the tools necessary to deliver on critical business goals. You will also work with Calix Product, Marketing, and extended Leadership teams to provide critical field input to help define the next generation of cloud business solutions at Calix as we blaze a new trail in next-generation business applications. Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Meet and exceed established sales goals.
  • Manage the day-to-day and week-to-week operations of the sales team.
  • Develop and drive territory, business and account planning.
  • Ensure sales best practices are applied to support high velocity sales cycles, and high quality, sales performance.
  • Manage the sales pipeline and provide forecasts of sales revenue.
  • Leverage sales leadership experience to coach, develop and motivate the team as they grow as sales professionals.
  • Collaborate with regional sales resources to bring subject matter expertise, strategy and support for customer engagements.
  • Work closely with company leadership to select, evaluate and recruit new sales talent as needed.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of sales management experience with specific focus on cloud enabled solutions and experience taking new products to market.
  • Track record of leading teams who over-achieve quota
  • Experience managing the sales cycle from business champion to the CEO/CFO/CMO/CPO level.
  • 10+ years of quota carrying software or technology sales or pre-sales and account management experience.
  • Experience managing and closing complex sales-cycles- demonstrated ownership of all aspects of territory management.
  • Candidates must be competitive, cooperative, collaborative both internally and externally.
  • Strong computer skills, including salesforce.com, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Must have a valid Driver's License and able to travel within your associated regions.
  • Travel in the territory up to 35%.

273,100.00 - 409,700.00 USD Annual
National Major Cities plus, CA, CO, NY Metro area:
237,500.00 - 356,300.00 USD Annual
Regional plus NY:
213,800.00 - 320,700.00 USD Annual
